Reduce Your Water Footprint

August 18, 2009

More than 90% of the world’s fresh water is consumed in the agricultural and industrial sectors. It takes roughly 20 gallons of water to make a pint of beer, as much as 132 gallons of water to make a 2-liter bottle of soda, 39,000 gallons of water to produce the average domestic car, including the tires and about 5,000 gallons of water to grow a day’s food for a family of four. With this in mind, manufacturers across the globe in the agricultural and industrial sectors and beyond must identify solutions that will reduce their water footprint and increase efficiencies. The time is NOW to seal in the savings and begin working toward your sustainability targets.
